Emily Rose Cole is a poet, fairytale enthusiast, and unapologetic disciple of pop culture. She is the author of Love & a Loaded Gun, a chapbook of persona poems in women’s voices. Her essays appear on xoJane, Luna Luna and Ravishly, and her poetry appears in journals such as THRUSH, Passages North, Nimrod, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from the Southern Illinois University Carbondale and is currently a PhD student at the University of Cincinnati, where she teaches composition and creative writing.
